Project Description

Working with GoodWeave’s Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) we created an interactive and visually appealing online training course that covers all aspects of their Child Protection Policy.

Targeting staff, board members, volunteers, consultants and GoodWeave’s partner organisations, the goal of this training is to ensure that all parties have the same understanding of their role and responsibilities, as outlined in the policy.

GoodWeave International – a nonprofit organisation founded in 1994 by Nobel laureate Kailash Satyarthi – is the leading global institution with a mission to stop child labour in global supply chains. Permanently. Through its work over more than 25 years, GoodWeave has rescued over 7,640 children from labour, provided quality education to almost 37,000 rescued and vulnerable children, and deterred hundreds of thousands of children from entering labour.  In 2019 alone, more than 82,000 workers are benefiting from GoodWeave’s efforts.

Linking the Training Course to Real Life

The training content was written by SMEs at GoodWeave and maps to their Child Protection Policy. We added bookmark icons to identify the relationship between the training and the policy. By enabling learners to easily refer to the policy during the course, the link between the policy and its real life application is strengthened.
Multimedia eLearning Content

Interactive Knowledge Checks

This online training course follows the structure of GoodWeave’s Child Protection Policy. Knowledge checks are included following each section in order to reinforce the key learning points.
eLearning Assessment

Online Assessment

To ensure that the key learning points have been understood, we included an end of module assessment. Immediate feedback is given to reinforce the learning.

Certification

Finally, because this training course is hosted outside of a LMS, we needed a way to track completion. To that end we added the ability to download a personalised completion certificate upon successful completion of the assessment.
