How to include participants with different impairments is an e-learning module that was developed for Scottish Disability Sport.
This module provides advice to enable teachers/coaches/leaders to provide equitable, safe and accessible physical activity opportunities to all, including participants with disabilities. The module aims to inspire confidence, help to develop new skills and encourage planning for progression, adaption or modification of practice to meet the needs of participants of all abilities.
The module was built using Adobe Captivate and is compatible with both desktop and tablet computers. This is made possible due to Captivate’s leveraging of both Flash and HTML5 technologies.
Interactive Knowledge Checks
Activities are provided throughout to encourage learners to build a knowledge portfolio to carry with them in to their own sports.
10+ engaging video clips show coaches modelling best practice whilst top competitors share valuable insights to improve the overall learning experience.
Once learners have completed the module they must pass a multiple-choice quiz before being awarded a certificate to add to their coaching portfolio.
